Danielle: Danielle is a young princess who doesn't know that she is a princess. She lives in a cottage in the forest with her mother.

Jeffrey: Danielle meets Jeffrey one day when he shows up at her well. He is from the city, and finds it odd that Danielle has never seen a boy before!

Danielle's Mother: Doesn't have a name yet. While she is Danielle's only mentor and caretaker, she does not set a very good example for her daughter. She is very flirtatious and has quite a few secrets that Danielle doesn't know about...
